# Vigilans — Contact

Vigilans is a one-person operation, so there is no ticket queue and no chatbot — email reaches the person who writes the software. Every address below is the same inbox, monitored on business days.

## Email

General questions, sales questions, bug reports, licensing problems, press enquiries: [contact@vigilans.app](mailto:contact@vigilans.app). Replies usually go out within a few business days. Writing in English or German is equally fine.

If you are reporting a problem with the app, it helps enormously to include your macOS version, the Vigilans version, and what the menu bar was showing when things went wrong.

## Lost license key

You do not need to email anyone for this. The resend page takes the address you bought with and sends the key back to it automatically.

## Security reports

Send security issues to [contact@vigilans.app](mailto:contact@vigilans.app) with "security" in the subject line. Please report privately first and give us a chance to ship a fix before disclosing publicly. Reports are acknowledged, and we will tell you when a fix is released.

## Privacy and data requests

Requests for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection under the GDPR go to [contact@vigilans.app](mailto:contact@vigilans.app) and are handled by the controller directly. The privacy policy explains what is processed, on what legal basis, and how long it is kept.
