Vigilans is a one-person operation, so there is no ticket queue and no chatbot — email reaches the person who writes the software. Every address below is the same inbox, monitored on business days.
General questions, sales questions, bug reports, licensing problems, press enquiries: contact@vigilans.app. Replies usually go out within a few business days. Writing in English or German is equally fine.
If you are reporting a problem with the app, it helps enormously to include your macOS version, the Vigilans version, and what the menu bar was showing when things went wrong.
Lost license key
You do not need to email anyone for this. The resend page takes the address you bought with and sends the key back to it automatically.
Security reports
Send security issues to contact@vigilans.app with "security" in the subject line. Please report privately first and give us a chance to ship a fix before disclosing publicly. Reports are acknowledged, and we will tell you when a fix is released.
Privacy and data requests
Requests for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection under the GDPR go to contact@vigilans.app and are handled by the controller directly. The privacy policy explains what is processed, on what legal basis, and how long it is kept.
